overnight accomodations near Hoge Veluwe National Park

any suggestions about where to stay when visiting Hoge Veluwe National Park? Is Otterloo or Ede Wangeningen easier for accessing the train to to go Delft?

We are planning to go up to Hoge Veluwe in early May from Nijmegen, where we will be visiting our son and daughter-in-law. Arnhem is the closest large community to Hoge Veluwe, and there's a bus (105 I believe) from there to the park. Arnhem is a major train station too. A place right outside the park (in Hoenderloo) that had a good mention on Trip Advisor is http://www.boerenkinkel.nl/index_en.html. When will you be going there?

Ede and Wageningen share a train station (Ede-Wageningen), so that would be the easiest train access. From Otterloo you can take a bus to Arnhem. That would take longer, because you will pass Ede-Wageningen when you go to Delft from Arnhem. But it won't make much difference and Otterloo has (in my opinion) better access to national park Hoge Veluwe. Hoenderloo is comparable to Otterloo (locationwise), Papendal is on the south side of the park and very close to Arnhem, not right on the edge of the park, but a beautiful area as well. Papendal has a large conference centre, though. What is more important to you: location or access?
