The OPEC bag so many of us refer to has disappeared from the Outdoor Products web site.
Did everyone get one before they disappeared?

I noticed that a while ago. Several other websites still show it, but I imagine the supply is limited.
I got mine.
My only complaint was that they were too big. I was trying to find a luggage shop to cut it down. I've since gotten a Rick Steve's Appenzell bag and a Velocé Bag. Not sure which one I will use. The Velocé bag is the only one that comes close to meeting Spirit's carryon size. Actually, I'll never fly Spirit, but I was afraid their idea would catch on.
Lee, in your search to have the lightest, smallest, and if possible no luggage, I think the answer may be forthcoming:
Scottevest Carry-On Coat
The Outdoor Product Essential Carryon was until recently still listed by these online sources:
Great Outdoors Depot
Outdoor Pros
Campbound.com (Sold out).
Due to demand for this very useful bag, some sources might already be sold out.
Don't know about the OPEC carry-on bag but it looked on the website like it doesn't have wheels. I've had great success over the years with the High Sierra wheeled backpack bag. It has a removeable zip-off small backpack, holds a lot. You can board with the bottom part and backpack separately or together, which is a great advantage because it gives you flexibility depending on how much you stuff in. If you stuff a lot in just wheel the whole thing on together; if you don't put much in the backpack, you can take the whole thing on as a carry on and still be able to sling another bag over your shoulder.
