Orange Alcatel pay as you go phone

I live in the U.S., but will travel to France this summer. I have a Orange phone bought, in France 3 years ago. It is an "ALCATEL" and the model number below is OT-E221. Can anyone tell me if I can go to an Orange store in Toulouse France and get more time put on it? Oh the sad thing is I do not know the phone number. I've tried to find an e-mail for this company but was not successful.

Take it with you. Worst case, they will tell you it can't be done. I'm guessing, though, that they can sell you a new SIM card (which gives you the number) and you will be good to go. (And FYI, Orange's website is www.orange.com. You can click the "contact" link at the bottom of the page to reach them by email.)

You may find that the number and any left over call credit has expired, this used to be the case if you did not use the phone for a certain time. In that case you will have to buy a new Orange SIM and put it in the phone. You will get a fresh number. However, if you can, get the handset unlocked and remove the Orange SIM. You can then buy in France a different SIM with a better calling deal eg Lebara. The age of the phone should not matter, my last phone which I replaced earlier this year, lasted 10 years and I used it all over Europe during that time.
