Hi everyone, just looking for itinerary suggestions for Europe. We will be leaving Garmisch-Partenkirch on 26 Dec and the plan was to travel via train to Salzburg (o/n), Prague (2 nights), Vienna (o/n), Budapest (2 nights, incl NYE) then fly to Paris on the 1st (need to be there by the 2nd Jan).
Now I’m questioning if that’s the best plan - is Budapest the best place for NYE? And is Vienna worth the stop? There are 6 of us, including 4 in their 20s! 🤷♀️ — looking for recommendations.

Ive done NYE in Budapest. Prague would probably impress your group the most.

How about participating one of Europe's largest NYE parties at Brandenburg Gate in Berlin? In terms of party Berlin has some advantages.

You cannot go wrong with any of those choices. I'm more comfortable in Budapest than Prague, but we're getting ready to visit Berlin for the first time shortly.

It's just not an impressive holiday here (sitting in Zing Burger right now). Prague is more of a party town and that might be more relative to the 20 year olds....
