NS International App keeps changing the date inputted

Well, another train question, which may be related to my post earlier today.

When I input an April date for a trip between Haarlem and Brugges, the system changes the date to the day before. I'm using the NS International app. I did an internet Search for an answer, and all I find is that I need to change a Date&Time setting in my I-phone. However, I can't find the required Setting. Has anyone else had this problem, and figured out the solution?

I also just realized we should take the #300 bus to Schiphol, to cut out a connection, and take the train from Schiphol to Brugges.

I sure hope someone here has figured this out. Thanks so much!

I know nothing about the apps, but could it be that you are in a sufficiently different time zone than our European friends? The date on your phone would say January 21, when theirs says January 22, at least for about 7-9 hours. Probably a useless guess, but I throw this out there FWIW.

What you can do is use the website to buy tickets. You can also buy this ticket on www.b-europe.com

I would not take the bus to Schiphol, as that is not going to be a protected connection. And it does not reduce the number of connections you will make.

Pat, go to your iPhone settings, then click on General, then click on Date & Time. Toggle OFF the Set Automatically option and update the time zone below to the time zone of the place you are trying to book.

Just remember to change it back after you book it.

Mardee, thanks. Always great to learn something new. At least it wasn't my incompetence, I have enough of that in other areas. :)
