I'd like to take a vacation in November..kind of short notice to plan. Does it rain a lot in November in Europe? I hear the Southern parts of Spain are OK...concerned about being trapped by rain. Thanks!

Not in the south, but...
In Madrid in November, I’m expecting a 30% chance of clouds and rain. On average, November is a rainier month for Spain…average 2.4 inches for the month in Madrid.

I'm not sure about November in Southern Spain, but we've been there in December, twice, and when it rains then, it REALLY rains! But having said that, we still had a great time, and we were reliant on public transport.
