For the attention of some of the regulars...
Recently, far too many complaints from upset newcomers and regulars have prompted a new addition to the Posting Guidelines. Newcomers are leaving the Helpline because basic respect is not being given on the boards, particularly in PMs. While your experience that you share here is greatly valued, remember that as members of this community, you are ambassadors to the newcomers and the experienced. Saying "watch out for so-and-so" or effectively reprimanding someone for what they asked, shared, experienced, etc is not acceptable under any circumstance. As always, if you have an issue with something, it should go to the webmaster.
New addition to the guidelines: Keep your opinions regarding other posters' personality, character or experience to yourself.
For those of you who this notice does not apply to, thank you for being upstanding members of the Helpline Community. It couldn't work without you!
