Norweigen Air

I've never flown a discount airline before. How is Norweigen Air? They currently fly from LA and NY to Gatwick. In a couple of months from SEA to Gatwick.
Cheap fares, but are there any surprised?

If you've flown most American airlines then you'll have no surprises flying Norweigan.

We have flown them on 6 legs from BOS and BWI with no problems and plan to use them in the future. Great seat pitch and leg room superior to any U.S. line flying coach to the EU.
In Feburary, our RT fare to Martinique was $250.

Flew with them Sept. 2016 NYC to London return through Paris. We enjoyed both flights and would use them again. Just keep in mind seat reservations, food, checked luggage etc are add ons unless you opt for the next ticket class.

A couple weeks ago I flew them from Barcelona to Oakland. No trouble at all. We pre-ordered meals which were fine. Just be sure to add all the hidden costs before comparing.

We flew the 787 dreamliner and they say the pressure is better, and I really thought I could feel a difference. It was great! I would not hesitate to fly them again. :)

I've flown them round trip to Europe from LAX three times and within Europe once.
I really like the airline! Good in-flight entertainment system, the seats aren't bad for a discount airline, and the service is very good.
My one recommendation is to bring your own food - they charge quite a bit extra for meals and it's pretty bad. I bought it the first time I flew and didn't eat it on the return trip even though I had pre-paid for it.
If you are taking carry-on luggage make sure to stick to their requirements. I pushed the size limit and got away with it until one gate agent finally made me check it at my expense.
