Russian Rail (RZD) FPK 23/24 now operates under a more traveler friendly schedule. The Paris via Berlin to Moscow Express train has a degree of capacity utilization of 72-98% already.

New departure time in Berlin is now 4:30pm with a Paris arrival time of 9:16am. Departure in Paris is now 8:05pm and arrival in Moscow is two days later at 12:33pm.

The train stops in Strasbourg, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt am Main (South), Erfurt Hbf, Berlin Hbf, Berlin Lichtenfeld, Frankfurt/Oder, Poznan, Warsaw and Minsk before it arrives in Moscow.

It no longer takes the Hannover or Saarbrücken route in Germany.

Great information to know. Thanks. Between Paris and Berlin there is still a night train...prima! I'm surprised the train doesn't stop at Berlin Ostbahnhof but rather at Lichtenfeld before proceeding to Frankfurt an der Oder.

Note that this train is running two days/week (weekends) through Sept. 12 and once/week in the fall. When searching date-specific train schedules like DB, it won't appear on other dates, making the option easy to overlook.

That's correct. It's a bit of an "insider information". I've seen the train a couple of times. Since the carriages are actually Russian (but very new and nice) they are much wider than the usual European carriage. So the compartments are also a bit more spacious than those on the old City Night Lines (CNL) - at least those that do not use Spanish trains.
