Nice to Cannes by train

If I have the France rail pass. Is it no need to reserve the seats when I travel from nice to Cannes ? Just get on the train without booking. Or I need to go the nice station office to get the tickets before get on the train?

It depends on the type of train, which you'll need to check on the timetable when you plan your trip or the departure board at the station: TER (local): no reservations Corail (longer-distance): reservations available but not compulsory
Corail Teoz (longer-distance) or TGV (high-speed): reservation compulsory.

There is a TER train you can use, which has no restriction. The standard fare is only €6.60, so if that is the only journey you will make on that day you may wish to pay cash rather than use up a day of your pass (which even if you have a 9 day 2nd class Youth pass, will have cost you something like €30 per day of travel).
