Heading in February to New Zealand for 6 weeks. 3 weeks on South with motorhome and 3 weeks on North with car. Arrive into Christchurch for 2 days and want suggestions of what to do with motorhome while we tour the city. Close by campground? Safe parking lots? Any help would be appreciated. We are an active couple in early 60s who love to walk :)

I assume if you have a motorhome you will be sleeping in it and not in hotel. That means you would have it parked in campground. By the way New Zealand better fits under Beyond Europe than General Europe. Pretty far from there.

New Zealand is one of the premier travel places in the world. I've never been fortunate to make it there, however.
Last time I was reading about renting motor homes there, I discovered they will rent one extremely cheap for returning them from Christchurch back up to the North island.
I suggest you contact your rental company for a list of good campgrounds for the places you're intending to travel to.
