New York Times Travel Show

Has anyone attended the New York Times Travel Show held annually in New York City. I have never attended and am considering going this year. Was wondering what you saw and learned from going to the show. Is there any tips or ideas you can share. They will have several booths regarding travel in Europe and I was wondering what you have learned. I know a few years ago Rick Steves was at this show. Sorry I missed that! Please let me know what you thought of the travel show and what to look for when attending. It will be held at the beginning of March 2014.

Thanks.

I attended about 4 years ago, when Rick, Samantha Brown, and Anthony Bordin were in attendance. Overall I had a good time. The various booths got monotonous after a while. They mostly want your address so they can add you to their mailing list, and most of the brochures/dvds they handed out can be download from their sites. But what I liked most were Q&A sessions with the travel celebrities and seminars about different aspects of travel. The entertainment (bands/dancers) from various countries was a treat as well. In the travel industry the show is a big deal...go for it:)
