For first timers to Europe I usually recommend London, Paris, Rome. That would leave you with barely three days for each location. Or you can drop Rome and have more time for Paris and London. To get oriented to travel in Europe read the whole Rick Steves website:
http://www.ricksteves.com
There is a lot of very useful information there. And then get the Rick Steves guidebooks for London and Paris.

Europe is a big place with so many countries to visit! I suggest that you take a look at what Rick Steves' tours look like and then pick one country to visit. Eleven days is not enough time to see much more than one country. Eleven days is really 9 days when counting travel to and from India. Once you have the country decided, start looking at airfares, as I doubt anyone can tell you how pricing fluctuates/works for flights from India unless someone with travel history in India or someone from India decide to respond. I suggest that you buy a good guide book and read it! What I like to do when traveling may be different than what you might like to do.
If you are not taking a tour, you will need to decide if you want to travel by train, bus or car. You will need to book rooms or an apartment in advance, as well as booking entrances to various sites so you can skip the possible long lines at various sites, and buy transportation tickets/ train, bus, or car rental. Once you decide on a country, come back to this forum and ask specific questions so the people on this forum can help you with some logistics and tweaking your itinerary.
Remember that it is colder in the northern countries and warmer in the south (south of the Alps) in May. Take the weather conditions in to consideration when considering your destination/s.
You have some research to do!

I hope you enjoy Europe. I have visited India and very much enjoyed my visit. Also, the Indian people are very nice. Also, we just love the Indian cuisine.

There is a lot to see in Europe and so many choices, but I agree that sticking to the large cities like London, Paris, Rome, Madrid or Munich would be a good start.

Larger cities are more expensive, but also have a lot of choices. You can find a full range of accommodations. Check Kayak website for air ticket prices.

Also, I carry my passport and most of my cash and credit cards in a money belt while in places like Paris or Rome. Pickpockets are quite skilled and can ruin your vacation if you don't take precautions.

As suggested by you , " travel masters " ,
I think , I may go with London , Paris and , Rome ( if possible ) within the stipulated 10 - 11 days
In May 2017 ,
Kindly suggest me a neat travel itenary from day 1 ,
And any travel agency to rely on .....
Is it wise to book from Indian travel agents or European travel agents ?

I don't use a travel agent, but I am retired and love doing the research myself. I use TripAdvisor to assist on hotels, and things to do (read the reviews to determine quality). Also, I use Kayak for the lowest prices for hotels, flights and rental cars.

I suggest checking London, Paris and Rome for things to do on TripAdvisor. It will display a number of choices. Also, look for tours, just do a google search for London tours and you will find a number of choices. Rick Steves has great guidebooks that will assist as well. Kayak will show you choices of hotels by price and location. Don't book on kayak, but once you find your hotel, go to the hotel website and book the room.

All three cities have plenty to do and if you will have 3-4 days in each city. Try to plan what sights you want to see in each city. All three cities had great public transportation, however Rome will require more walking.

You can take the train from London to Paris, but may wish to fly from Paris to Rome. If you decide to take the train, consider the night train with a sleeper.

When purchasing you flight from India, see if an open jaw ticket works best, flying into London and flying out of Rome.

I would suggest looking at Rough Guide Europe or countries covered by Rough Guide to get a survey as to what can be done and to determine your priorities. That's the main concern...setting up priorities. For the first trip, I definitely have my idea of such a trip but would you be thinking likewise as regards to priorities and interests. For flight to Europe, fly to Frankfurt (FRA) first.

I can understand your hesitation in planning a trip to places you've never been, especially large cities with so much to see and do. My first trip to Europe was to Paris with my daughter and her French Club and it was totally guided, which was great since I didn't have a clue what to see or where to go. I've been back twice since, both times planning the trips myself with guidance from the Rick Steves books and the kind people on this forum. You might be better off for your first time, finding a tour group such as Rick Steves, to travel with. Planning a large trip takes quite a bit of time and effort. Not everyone has the desire to do that. I love it myself but if it doesn't appeal to you, then a tour group might be the way to go. Either way, have an enjoyable and safe trip.

All that being said, I would recommend Rome & Paris as destinations. If you wanted to add a third city, Venice is wonderful. We stayed at AIRBNB properties in Rome & Paris and a lovely little hotel in Venice called Hotel alla Fava.

If you have 11 full days and want to limit the cities to three, I suggest London, Paris, and Berlin. Fly to Berlin. I'll be back in Europe in late May 2017.
