New Passport Fees

In case you missed it -----

* New passports: $135 (up from $100)

* Passport renewals: $110 (up from $75; the $25 execution fee is waived here);

* Passports for children under the age of 16: $105 for each new U.S. passport (up from $85);

* Additional passport pages: A service fee of $82 will now be charged each time you request additional pages for your passport (this previously was free of charge).

I was surprised to get added pages this spring for free and mentioned to friends that it should cost enough to cover costs $25 maybe ??? but $82 seems like a big jump !!!
