This article from The Guardian outlines expanded services at night, a reversal of recent decreases we have seen, particularly by OBB, Austria’s rail company. We took OBB from Rome to Vienna a few years ago in a a very nice sleeper and would do it again. Nice to see this resurgence of comfortable services.
Love that these trains are coming back. Especially that they are building them with good service — I.e. not on the cheap.
This is terrific to see. The article gives me new ideas to fly into easily reachable or less expensive airline hubs, and then connect by high speed and night trains to interesting destinations across Europe.
