New Lightweight Rolling Luggage

While I'm a non-rolling luggage fan, this article was brought to my attention and I thought some of you might be interested:

Landor & Hawa Sub Zero G

They come in numerous sizes up to 30" but the two that would work best for carry on are:

20.5 x 14.4 x 7.6 (4.8 lbs)

19 x 13.5 x 7 (4 lbs, 6 oz)

I'm probably not going to buy either one...but it's tempting.

BTW--I'm not affiliated with the company, and those who have the $30 Campmor bag--we know, we know.

I was in a luggage shop last week & picked up a 23 incher. I could not believe how light it was. They are very basic - just a rectangle with wheels & a handle. Also, unlike other bags, the inside wasn't compromised by the wheels & handle & various pockets. I asked them to call me when they next get a 19" model in since they only had the larger bag. I took such a short look, I can't vouch for how well they're made.

Thanks for the link! As much as I love my trusty backpack, I'm concerned that it's not going to be the best choice for an upcoming business trip.

Wow, that's seriously light for a wheelie! Though I'm not tempted since I just ordered a new Tom Bihn bag--the Tristar. A bit more than the Campmor, though. :-)
