I was looking at a youtube video of somebody walking across the new 4th bridge in Venice. What I noticed is that almost the entire walk is up or down stairs. They are shallow stairs but stairs nonetheless. One major use of the bridge will be to go between the Santa Lucia railway station and the Piazalle Roma/Parking Area. After my "bumpty bump" of pulling luggage up, over and down canal bridges, I would hope that somebody might have installed a ramp without stairs on one side for luggage and/or the disabled. But No. It's still bumpty bump with the luggage.
Has anybody had experience going over this bridge yet?
