Nervous British Airways Traveler

I leave May 6 for a week in Germany and England. My flights are all on BA. With threats of further strikes after this weekend I'm somewhat on the edge of my seat. While I realize that the possibility of a strike during my stay is relatively slim there also seems to be neverending threats of rail strikes, the reverberation of other airlines striking etc.
This will be my last trip to Europe for several years and in a way I'm almost kind of glad about it. If the purpose of all this was to discourage traveling in an already shaky economy they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.

Anyone here been affected by all this?

Russ, I also have a flight on BA (end of April) so I too have been following the strike. One thing that has been encouraging is that evidently BA customer service has done a good job of notifying passengers and putting them on alternate flights. So I wouldn't lose any sleep on it at this point ... there is time.
