Something that doesn't break the bank but provides excellent guides, group size under 25, and decent hotels. Preferably for fit people over 60 going solo and interested in connecting with other travelers. Thanking you all in advance for any recommendations you have! Last minute bargains would be great.

I wouldn't be bringing anyone with me. I would like to meet up with the group and travel with them, something pre-arranged through the company in the way that overseas adventure travel does it,

We have traveled with Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT), which fits what you are looking for. They also have some great deals if you have some flexibility and don't need to plan too far ahead - they discount tours as travel dates get close and a trip is not filled. They also do not charge a single supplement, so they are very popular with solo travelers. We have friends who like Road Scholar, so you might check that out as well.

I've done small group travel with Seymour Travels which has a max of 10 on their trips but you do need to manage your own luggage so if that is an issue then Mark's tours would not be appropriate.
You might look at Road Scholar. They do porter your suitcase most of the time. The last tour I did with them was 2022 so still in the Covid shadow where most hotels were understaffed. The 2 hotels on that program were unable to provide porter service but over the 13 tours I've done with them that was the only time. I pack carry on only so I can do my own but many of the folks were having difficulty getting their suitcases under their control.

Another vote for Odysseys Unlimited. The only time you'll have to worry about your bag is inside your hotel room.
The prices you see quoted include airfare but you can just buy the land package and arrange your own airfare.
