We are planning to take a day train from Timisoara to Budapest. Has anyone done this? We are wondering about the cost and best place to find the train times. I've read that there are 4 trains a day. We then plan to take a Lot Airlines flight from Budapest to Warsaw. Anyone else done this? .Thanks so much!

Two direct trains per day leave from Timisoara Nord station and take about 5 hours. How to Look Up Train Schedules and Routes Online gives you the DB train schedule link and tips for using it. That does not sell tickets, which I would buy at the train station, or another station or travel agency earlier in your trip.
