Confused about the Disneyland part. On day 12, are you implying it takes a full day to get there? It’s just a one hour train ride or Uber ride from the city. Also DP is way smaller and more easily navigable than DE Orlando. And you don’t have to pre-plan everything or wait in long lines or be tied to app all day either. We got there an hour before opening and we were the only people in the security line! So basically what I’m saying is I’d give it 2 days max, one for each park, and you can include the transportation to and from the parks in those two days - no need to arrive a whole separate day early.

Good to know! Thanks for your feedback! We love Disney and want to make sure we have plenty of time to do everything because we probably won't be back. But I could at least cut out one day at Disneyland.

Paying someone to drive you from Munich to Lucerne via Neuschwanstein will probably cost a small fortune. And if you're looking at ways to shorten the trip, do you really need three nights at Disneyland?

I have traveled from Paris to Lauterbrunnen with kids and it's an easy one day. No need to stop in Colmar unless you want to. We changed in Geneva, Bern and Interlaken. Once we stopped and went to Montreux to the Chateau de Chillon and still made it to Lauterbrunnen in one day.

What do you want to accomplilsh on this trip, both for yourself and your children?

To shorten, I wouild consider what you want to do in both Lauterbrunnen and Disney. Do you know how you will fill each day? I would keep Colmar as it is the only place you will visit with a Medieval town center.
