Need best way from London> Normandy> Paris

I am spending 5 nights in London, then need to get to Normandy for 1 night, then Paris. I want to leave London early 1 day then arrive in Paris late the next day. What is the best way to/from Normandy? I want to see as much as possible in Normandy with limited time. Thanks!

Are you sure you want to try this? Normally I'd HIGHLY recommend taking Eurostar from London to Paris, however, if you want to get to Normandy for a day from Paris you'll need a rent-a-car. Better to acquire at CDG. This means all the hassle of flying, the two hour prior check in yada yada. It's about a 3 hour drive from CDG (given getting the car and all). You can also Eurostar to Calais and Hertz and Avis (I think) both have rent-a-car offices at the Eurostar terminal. You can picj up there and drop off in Paris. I travel to Europe alot and wouldn't do this for a thousand bucks. Given two days, yes.

You can do this all by public transportation. Take an early morning Eurostar from London to Paris. Monday-Friday you can be in Paris by 08:50, Saturday by 09:50, and Sunday by 11:47. Take a train from Paris to Caen. Depending upon how early you get to Paris, trains you could catch depart for Caen at 10:10, 12:00, and 13:05. Visit the War Memorial Museum in Caen in the afternoon. The museum closes at 19:00. Take an evening train to Bayeux--you can leave as late as 23:06 for this 15-minute ride--and spend the night. Take an all-day tour of the Normandy beaches. Check www.battlebus.fr and www.overlordtour.com. There is no Web site for it that I can find, but I've also read about tours operated by the Hotel de la Gare in Bayeux that don't require advance booking. They may well be cheaper. Take an evening train to Paris. You can leave Bayeux as late as 19:28.

My mistake! I was thinking you wanted to visit Normany for one day and spend the night in Paris. This is what happens when you don't read carefully.
