Nita, welcome to the travel forum. If you would break down your questions into at least three postings, one for each city/country, it will be easier for us to help you. I will give one general answer regarding travel between train stations and hotels with luggage: take taxis. With 4 people and luggage it will be worth the expense. London and Paris have numerous train stations. The train stations on these cities often aren't near tourist centers. I shop for hotels using booking.com. You would be wise to get a guide book or two to help with your planning. Rick Steves has guidebooks for England or London, Paris or France, and Switzerland. Some libraries carry these as well as other travel books. You may find answers to your questions in them.

I would stay Lauterbrunnen 4+5 June and Luzern 6+7 June.

4 June - TGV and connections from Paris to Lauterbrunnen - 2 nights.
5 June - Jungfraujoch excursion
6 June - Train to Luzern - 2 nights (maybe an afternoon lake cruise)
7 June - Titlis excursion
8 June - Train directly from Luzern (dep 04:55) to Zurich Airport (arr 06:13)

13>No. In no way.

What do you mean by "Date City" in the 6th line of your question?

Hi Nigel,
Date means - My travel date and City means the city which I will be on that date. I have used as a columns (Data, City) So My Q 13. travel with 3 =3 begs by train and your suggestion is NO. Is it that difficult? I read that usually European train has leg room and shelves on the top for the luggage. Can any one confirm please?
Thx,
Nitu

Q1) There is no benefit I can see to renting a car for this trip. A car would be an expensive nuisance in London and Paris. You can easily get where you want to go in Switzerland by train.

Q4) I like the Latin Quarter or St. Germain area. It's central to most of the tourist sites.

Q13) I strongly urge you not to take so much luggage. It will be difficult getting on and off trains with that many suitcases. If you would choose to rent a car, you'd have to get one with enough trunk space to hold that much, and again, you don't want to have a car in London and Paris. Each person should have a small wheeled suitcase or backpack that he/she can carry easily carry. If you go with wheeled suitcases, you could also have a small backpack. Remember -- they have sinks and laundries in Europe. You will be miserable trying to move all that luggage, especially moving around as much as you plan to do.

Q6) When I went to Switzerland the Swiss pass made financial sense for us. It covers all forms of transportation in Switzerland, including local transportations. It will not cover all cable cars to the highest peaks, but it may provide a discount on those tickets. You need to figure out what you plan to do and do the math.

Q7) I would suggest Lauterbrunnen or Murren. Murren is IN the mountains, while Lauterbrunnen is in the valley. Please note you cannot take a car to Murren, another reason to take the train. Both towns are really small, so any location is fine.

Q9) Yes to all.
