Need advice- Anyone been to both Scotland & also to Norway?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this so please direct me to the correct one if it is not. Thank you!

Anyone been to both Scotland (Isle of Skye, Applecross, Isle of Mull, Oban, Glencoe etc) & also to Norway (Bergen & the Fjords)?

Are the places mentioned above similar in landscape & feel?

I absolutely understand that every place is different even if similar but the reason I ask this question is because we would have just completed a trip to the above places in Scotland (June/July) & are considering a trip to Norway for August. Will they be too similar for a trip so close (in time) to each other? Would you rather space out such trips to enjoy & appreciate them better? We usually do like to mix the kind of trips (city, beach, mountains) we take so wanted advice from you experts on what you think/ what you would do & why?

Ps- We are not avid hikers but love small towns/ villages, gorgeous sceneries & drives, easy road trips.

Thank you!

We have been to both Scotland and Norway. They are both very scenic and interesting.

We did the best cruise to Norway about 5 years ago, it started in Copenhagen and went up the coast of Norway to six ports to the North Cape. Must do in Summer. Fantastic.

Scotland is historic and scenic. Loved Inverness and Loch Ness as well as St. Andrews and Edinburgh.

Plan to do both. Royal Caribbean, NCL and Princess once had North Cape cruises of Norway.

I have done both over the years.
Scotland has my heart as the interweaving of human history and a lived in landscape pulls me more than the bigger mountains of Norway.
I was out hiking from Finse to Johumhiem (?)

I too have done both and felt that they were very different from each other. Granted, Norway was in mid October, and Scotland was in late February, but still the scenery felt very different.

I've been to both and think they are very different and each deserving of a visit. Norway's fjords are not the same as Scotland's lochs. And Norway's glaciers and mountains are different from Scotland's Munros. And then there's the culture, food and architecture which vary from that of Scotland. Not to mention in Norway they drive on the "right" side of the road. :-D

Very different. Totally different histories and culture. Topography also quite different.

We will be visiting both soon. I plan to enjoy the uniqueness of each landscape. I know I will enjoy scenery I have not yet experienced….and expect these countries to have contrasting beauty! I am getting very excited for this North Sea adventure!

Thank you all for your replies! As much as we do want to do Norway this summer, for now, we have decided to come back another time/ summer when we have at least 10 days. I feel doing 2 overwhelming & gorgeous trips so close in time to each other may not be the best way to appreciate them both. Anyone agree/ feel the same about travel sometimes?
