Have any naturalized US citizens experienced any recent extra screening when re-entering the US when returning from Europe? Thanks.
Kenny, my husband is a naturalized citizen and he had no extra screening when we returned from Italy last month.
We flew into EWR, and he was a little apprehensive, but he sailed through with no extra screening/questions
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Bring a copy of every bit of paper that might be necessary, and then you won't need it.
You have a U.S. passport so you would not need any further documentation. I’d download the mobile passport app.
No, i didn't have a problem. It was actually very quick. They only took picture that's it.
You are a US citizen with the same rights as any other US citizen. All you need to re-enter the country is your passport.
BTW, US citizens cannot be denied entry into the US. That's the law.
