We will be in the tour starting July 16 and are wondering about favorite experiences on this tour and any tips you think would be helpful to getting the most out of this tour? Great experiences? Any bad or disappointing?
I haven't been on it, but there are three scrapbooks from last year. Have you seen them?

They usually have good day to day info. It looks like an amazing itinerary!
We went on this tour in September of 2016 and loved it! Our tour escort, Dan, was excellent, and connected with each of us individually before each destination to help us choose activities suited to our likes and abilities. We had a great afternoon after visiting Neuschwanstein taking a short hike to a hut for lunch. We really hadn't read much about the Dolomites, but Dan helped us decide on a hike, and it ended up being one of my favorites days. I wish we would have had an additional day on our own in Salzburg. On our free Salzburg day, we went to the salt mines in Berchtesgaden (fun!), so we ran out of time to see everything in Salzburg. Our group bonded quickly, and the first night we almost all ended up to Die Weiss for dinner and beer. I hope you have as much fun as we did!
Thank you for these three great responses. I didn't know about the scrap books and they have been a joy to read. I will also explore the trip tips. And thank you for sharing your positive experience from your 2016 trip!
