My Way Alpine Europe - Hiking Access?

1st timers recently booked My Way Alpine tour for late June'26.
We welcome your advice & guidance for hiking from our RS destination hotels. We are uncertain about convenient access to trail heads from our hotel (bus tour drop off), being overwhelmed by high traffic crowds, trail selection descriptions (choices where to go), is supplemental transportation necessary (too far from hotel) and must see/don't miss adventures. Truly, we don't know what to expect. We are seeking hikes within 4-7 hrs. duration, which don't have a parade of tourist. Additionally, we welcome your guidance on optional chair lifts and cable cars/trams for convenient access. We live in Colorado & are in decent shape for scenic challenges. We might consider a local guide for trouble free pick-up/drop off, area orientation, remote access with less people, and local expertise insight. Finally, advise us if we need to book any advanced reservations well in advance. We appreciate your time, advice & supplemental online information. Thank you ever so much!

Warm Regards,

It's a fabulous tour! I went in early June 2023. Some of the popular trails were closed due to the remaining snow or mud and there was a blizzard at the top of Chamonix- so you should have better luck with your chosen dates, albeit balanced against possibly more fellow visitors.
For reassurance, reading the trail information felt overwhelming for me, too. But it's carefully planned so that the hotels are located where you want to be. The guide helped as you needed with planning individually, both on the bus and in the morning.
I only booked ahead for Bolzano to see the Iceman. In Salzburg I opted for a matinee Mozart performance I also booked from home ahead. Those who wanted to go to the top of Chamonix were advised to wait to get their tickets to account for the weather- a few who planned to go changed their minds. I didn't choose to tour the interior of the castles, just the view from the bridge.
One couple were really serious hikers. I don't remember them taking other transportation, but know they went out for hours/ all day.
I hope this is helpful. It made a lot more sense once I was there! Not sure if AllTrails or others might help you with planning...
