Multi-trip annual travel insurance

Does anyone have experience with buying multi trip annual trip insurance for Europe?
Since our health insurance does not extend coverage outside the US, I usually buy AMEX Assurance, only for medical and dental. Had a bad experience with AIG, so won't use them again. Any recommendations? Is there anything that might cover quarantine days in case of covid? Probably will trust my luck on that one, but just curious. Thanks for you help.

There are hundreds of options; I found that prioritizing the most important features helped us weed out the non-starters. Try squaremouth.com, insuremytrip.com, and travelinsurancereview.net to help you sort out what might work for you. There was also an article in Forbes Magazine that has just come out. You can google it. It shows up with the "travel insurance" search.

I've used GeoBlue for a number of years and get an annual medical policy. Their website tools are pretty good as are list of the providers in Europe. However I haven't been able to find any policies that cover quarantine days in case of covid if it's not for medical issues (i.e. not hospitalized, just stuck in a hotel room). Carefully read the fine print on the policies on those sites and check the reviews.

Insurance is regulated by the states. Always remember that what someone else in a different state is using or buying, may not be available in your state. The advantage of those travel insurance search sites is that they will only show you what is available for your purchase.

Thanks, all of you! There are so many options it can be overwhelming. The Forbes recommendations have helped narrow it down. Now I'm thinking I should probably stay with the single trip option, since in the next few trips, I'm the only constant in different combinations of family. Thanks again.

I have had an annual policy with Allianz for a few years. I let is lapse during Covid. But since I leave in a week for Europe, I purchased a new policy a few days ago. They have added Covid coverage. (If you test positive and have to stay, they will pay if hospitalization is needed. They also said having to stay in a hotel quarantine will be covered under trip interruption.
