Multi-brand hotel group has filed for insolvency: 125 hotels affected

The Revo Hospitality Group, a large hotel operator, has filed for insolvency under its own administration at the Berlin-Charlottenburg district court for around 140 of its companies. These include 125 hotels with around 5,500 employees in Germany and Austria, which are to continue operating, as the company further announced.

According to its own information, the group operates a total of 250 hotels in 135 cities in twelve European countries under its own brands and as a franchisee of large hotel chains.

Travelers can filter hotels and brands of this group on their website:

Bookings with departure until end of March 2026 will likely be safe.

that is a great shame. A really big estate to dispose of.

I'm astonished at how many of these hotels I have either stayed at or had considered staying at over the years. Including a couple of my favourites.

I hope that there is a smooth transition and that half of these don't just close.

Very interesting. IHG has the contract for lodging on all US military posts, to include those in Europe. Steigenberger and Hilton Garden Inn are quite large, outside of the specific locations mentions. Same with Radisson, Hyatt, and Wyndham. This is going to impact hotel pricing across a lot of locations, and room availablity also.
