My boyfriend and I have downloaded Rick's walking tours on our MP3 player/phone and are now trying to find a comfortable way to both listen and walk without being tied together. Has anyone been able to connect two bluetooth receivers to one MP3 transmitter? Or know of a way to do so? Thanks.
Might it not be just as easy to take a second MP3 player?
Thought about 2 MP3 players but then we'd have the issue of keeping them in sync. Thanks for your suggestion.
Yes. There is a splitter. You put the "Y" device into the mp3 player and from that you plug in two sets of ear buds or earphones. I bought one at Simply Mac (Apple Specialist) in Jackson WY. It's nomenclature is: 3.5mm Male to (2) 3.5mm Female. Cost is $9.95. But you can get the same at any Radio Shack for less, I am sure. If you mean a bluetooth wireless device with out the wiring some else may have the answer.
A splitter still leaves you "tied together", though on a slightly longer leash. As for two players, why do they need to be perfectly synced if you are listening to separate players? If you start them at the same time, they will be within a fraction of a second of each other.
