Hello. Looking for a US website or business to help me find reasonable accommodation for Moscow or surrounding areas near any metro stops--do not care if it is 40miles/56km away--for 18December2009-02Jan2010. The dollar is getting stronger and I hope it is doing well by December. Thank you

I stayed at the Hotel Bega in July of last year. Fine hotel, nice breakfast (included) and about a 15 minute walk from the metro, less if you chose to ride the bus to the station. I think we paid $100 per night. The view in the evening was also nice. The nearest metro stations were Belorusskaya or Dinamo on Line 2, about a 15 minute ride to Red Square. There is a train from Belorusskaya to the airport which is helpful.
