Moscow Group Meeting

We'll be meeting this Saturday, 18 August, 10:30-13:00 at One World Cafe, 533 S. Main Street in Moscow--Idaho. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there!
Will we have any newcomers? Who will be there?

Laughing...and desperately hoping S&M is referring to the couple from Genesee and not Monte's power point demo! I will be there if Rog can cover the caregiving chores for the morning.

Anyone else planning to be at One World Café?

OMG Bruce, you know Moscow! Come on over from Whitefish and bring us some Flathead cherries. I am not sure Monte would be able to do his equipment demonstrations and powerpoint presentations at Corner Club. Pam

Pam: Let's just say I was rather familiar with the watering holes in Moscow, along with those on the Bovill Run. Flathead cherries are delicious. Have a great meeting.

Don't forget to bring your passports. Do you need a visa for Moscow?

Actually Andrea, it's unbelievable but the Lewiston/Clarkston Valley actually has an agreement with Moscow/Pullman and vicinity.....we don't need passports or visas! Amazing, I know, because it does seem like a different country or world way up here! :)

Darcy, glad you and Doug made it up to the different world yesterday! What a nice meeting we had. Entertaining as usual and Monte did an impromptu discussion of bookbinding (not sure that is the proper term??) for when you want to take apart your RS guidebook, glue the relevant sections and cover back in place to take with you. (Did YOU know the RS guidebook pages (signatures?) are stitched?)

Pam, I actually was referring to the States of "Northern Idaho/Eastern Washington as being a different country compared to Sacramento although Moscow/Pullman and Lewiston/Clarkston ARE quite different from each other! Monte's explanation of how he takes apart and re-binds the RS guidebooks was amazing! I suspect though that I wouldn't do nearly as nice a job as he does so will probably take ours to the stationery store to be bound as I had previously discussed with Margy.....for me it's worth the $3 or so and I like the spiral binding they put on. Doug and I really enjoyed the meeting too. I really enjoy the different personalities and getting great travel tips. The meetings are a great way to "keep the dream alive"!

Laughing because I really thought you meant from LC to Moscow! We may have to start bring guidebooks ahead of time and sending them home with Monte to make sure he doesn't lose his bookbinding skills.

Don't even think about it. I am retired, however two years ago I wrote a guide to disassembling and reassembling guidebooks. I would be glad to give out copies at the next meeting we will be attending. You can get book paste all over yourselves.
