Morocco suggetions?

My finance and I are doing our 2+ weeks honeymoon in Morocco this November.

Any suggestions? We are planning on Tangier (2 nights), Fes (3 nights), Marrakech (2-1-1 nights), Desert/Kasbah Tour (3 nights), and Essouriah (3 nights).

We are staying in Riads, and have most nights booked (the good ones go fast!). We are looking for activities and day trips, and any other recommendations. Thanks a ton.

Peace,
Tom

Not sure you need 3 nights in Fez. If you have the time Casablanca and Rabat is worth a short visit. We did Rabat as a day trip from Casablanca.

Sounds like you've already booked a lot, and i agree that 3 nights in Fès is a bit long. We've been to Maroc several times and especially like Ouarzazate and Taroudant..they're not desert, but maybe on your way to the desert. Also very much like Essaouira...However, can't really offer much re:day trips..we always had a car..which gave us the pleasure of getting stopped for speeding and having to have flat tires frequently changed (rental car=flat tire)...We love the country and would go back again, but for right now no time or money to do re-runs.

have fun!!!

i would suggest to eat plenty of tangine it is delicious. They have tons of wonderful food there. Have fun haggling in the souks. Once you get the hang of it, it is a lot of fun. Oh and eat plenty of chocolate croissants too :)

If you're doing the desert tour, i'll assume you're taking a camel trek - if not you should. It was really cool. Also sleep under the stars for the camel trek it is amazing!!
