My final payment for our 2 week visit to Morocco is in January, and I'm trying to assess my comfort level for travel in March. Currently the country is locked down. Even if the government deems it "safe" to travel, I'd like to check some statistics for myself. What resources have you used to determine various risk factors when traveling?
One factor that is easy to check is the vaccination rate. Relative to other countries in Africa, Morrocco has a high rate (the highest as of now), so it has that going for it.

That might make them even more likely to keep their borders closed. These next few weeks will be stressful. My excitement about seeing Morocco has turned into worry.
Enroll in STEP: https://step.state.gov/ which will keep you informed as the situation changes.
Thank you!
