How long does the battery last? Assuming movies take more power than music or games. Just curious if the battery will last for the 11 hour flight? How do you do a screen print and save to Evernote? Is there an easy way to add to contacts without typing phone and email addresses?

I can only address your first question. I've taken my iPod on long flights for a year or more now and know that the battery will last for at least 8 hours but I'm not using it for any graphics, just books and music. Graphics really use my battery so I'm guessing that movies will really drain it and you'll not get the ending!

I don't think you can clip web content without using a web based browser. Not sure what your question is about contacts. Review the Evernote help guide here http://www.evernote.com/about/getting_started/#0 As for battery life - test it before you leave. In my experience, they vary by the device type (iPhone sucks up way more battery) and what you're doing (video = dead battery fast). I have a back up battery device (uses 2 AA batteries) that I have as a backup just in case. Some airlines have USB ports in their seats to charge phones (check SeatGuru to see if your specific flight has this feature).

Battery life; Music with the screen turned off; 20+ hours Movies with the screen at half brightness; 4 hours Screen shot is power key+home button - saved in "photos". Don't know about Evernote. Note; you must have good in-ear headphones to hear the audio over the roar of the jet engines, even at full volume.

Get a couple of plug-in battery packs to recharge. They're quick. Bit annoying on itouch because the earplugs and battery recharger units can't be used at the same time. I love my I touch ( had a 2nd generation, now have 4th generation - great for travelling).

Again, thanks for the replies. In 24 hours we'll only have 2 hours of flight time left!

3-4 hours at most with the screen on. However, many planes have USB plug ins, or power, so bring your plug/usb charger with you and easily available. For other screen captures, if say you're using the browser and want to save the info to look at later (I do this with schedules, etc.) hold down the home button and the power button on top. It does a screen capture and saves it to your pictures (Camera Roll).
