More importantly, who came to the Denver meeting?

The ever growing throng: We had nine people today, four regulars, one repeater and four newbies. The regulars, Frank, Arnold, Charlene, and I were there. Ross came back from last month. Also I want to welcome Dee and her husband from Evergreen, Val (Lexma) from Denver, and Robert from Kansas City. Robert now has the distinction of having traveled the farthest to attend one of these meetings (I intend to break that in Seattle in September).

Darn Lee, I could have broken that in July if I make the meeting (which I'm really hoping to do!). I think the distance between Denver / Seattle is greater than the distance between Austin / Denver.

Where? Edmonds. When? September 2012. It's like Brigadoon. Only appears once every hundred years. Don't miss it.

You can come to Denver in July and hold the record for two months. As my wife pointed out, I'm going to Seattle for my HS reunion. You're coming here to see your parents. But Robert, he came here just for the meeting. That's impressive. I should start a German group with Sarah and James when I'm over there in May. That should hold the record for a while. Actually, I meet with Jo in Germany (as have others).

Sure, would be glad to hold a Meeting in Germany. I think we tried to set one up a year or so ago, but it was tough getting peoples schedules to match, as everyone would have to come from someplace else sort of central. See if Nigel could pop over here too. Mark is in Berlin, Sarah in Stuttgart, I am in FF of course, and we will have to grab James before he leaves us all alone here.

Hi to the Denver Group and to all of you Helpline Viewers What a fun group. It always sounded like these meetings were fun. So I had the time so I went and checked it out. But 10 hours is a long way to drive every month. So my idea is to start one of these Rick Steves Europe get togethers in the KC area. Lee and Frank tell me that the "Franchise Agreement" calls for them to be held at a Panera if one is available. So where better to have one around here than at the Panera on the Country Club Plaza.
Let's look at the third Saturday in JUNE. That is June 16th at 10AM. That should be far enough out to make it on most social calendars. So if you are in the Kansas City area and you would like to attend please private message me. Robert

Hi to the Denver group. Our Sacramento group has had the pleasure of having Lee from Denver and Nigel attend our meeting on Skype. What a hoot. It's really hard to see everybody and for us, we have background noise in the Panera's but, it did work. We're planning a trip to visit friends in Atlanta. Where's the Atlanta group? I'd love to attend their group meeting if the dates are right.
