My 20 yr old daughter and 50 yr old self are planning another trip to Europe, we hit the major cities a few yrs ago, ending with a Med.cruise covering Athens,Mykonos,Santorini,Corfu. this time we will do another two weeks of heavy sightseeing in Denmark,Germany,Czech republic etc, then perhaps end with another cruise or relax on our own.My daughter would love to relax on the beach again for a couple of days and wants to do Greece again. Does anyone have recommendations of other islands or areas we should explore inGreece? We've never been to southern Italy, how would that compare?
In Demark, you're never far from a beach and Aero island is a lovely stop. For a beach experience in Italy, I would think about flying to Sicily, and stopping at Cefalu, among others. If you go back to Greece, consider flying to Crete, which has plenty to see on a single island. From Czech Republic, you could drop down to the coast around Piran, Slovenia or Rovinj, Croatia.
