Does anyone know where I can buy mini DVDs that will work in an American camcorder (Canon) and an American DVD player? European DVDs will not work. The ones I brought from home will not work in my camcorder. I am heading to Berlin, and am hoping to find a store in Berlin that might carry American format DVDs.

There is no difference between blank European and American DVDs. But, there are two different types of formats: DVD-R and DVD+R. Your camcorder might only be compatible with one or the other. Check the the manual for your camcorder's specifications. Also, there are slight differences between different brands blank disk, and some camcorders and DVD players might reject them; even though they should be compatible. Try different brands of disks.
