Hi Everyone,
I have 1 week to explore Vienna and will be jumping off from Milan Italy. I will be taking the train as I will not have a rental car. I would like to end in Vienna as I plan to fly home from there. Any suggestions on train accessible towns? I love hiking , swimming, shopping. Any past experiences with this particular path that anyone has would be appreciated.

Not clear of your question. You want to spend a week in Vienna at the end of your trip. How much time do you have between Milan and Vienna? This is necessary information to suggest an enjoyable route to Vienna.
