Looking for suggestions on purchasing the Michelin 300 series maps of Aquitaine and Provence. If possible I would like to get these maps before going to France in June.

The 300 series cost about ten bucks each and tend to get messed up from less than careful folding after a while. Their scale is 1 to 150,000.
Amazon also sells the France Motorist and Touring Atlas at a scale of 1 to 200,00 for seventeen bucks. It's spiral bound, lasts forever, and covers the whole country. I've had mine for at least ten years, so that's something like twenty-five or thirty trips back and forth and it's still going strong. Weight could be a factor, however.
