We will be cruising the eastern and northern Mediterranean in November. Not sure about a coat. Hat? Rain gear? Gloves? Muffler? We'll be walking on shore everyday and I don't want to freeze. Am I overdoing it? Recommendations appreciated.

I would be ready for rain or cool weather but you will probably have nice weather too. Pack a waterproof shell (no lining) and a sweater or two for layering if it gets cool. Even a 60f evening is cool on deck when the boat is going 30mph.
I wouldn't go as far as gloves/muffler. I never pack them but I have been further North when the weather dipped below 25f and picked some up at a department store.
