Just a curious question...Are passports stamped for each port on a cruise to the Med with NCL? Thanks!
We didn't get any stamps in our passports on our Feb. NCL cruise. Depending on your itinerary, they may actually collect your passport and then you have to wait to retrieve it later. Make sure you carry a copy with you.
We took a med cruise on Celebrity that included both Israel and Egypt. Passports were collected at the beginning of the cruise but looking through them I don't see any stamps except flying in/out of Rome. For Israel we each got a "landing card" since several Arab countries will not allow you in if you have an Israel immigration stamp in your passport. That said my husband has an Israel immigration stamp in his passport from a previous trip so who knows. At any rate don't wig out if you don't have your passport in, yes, your money belt, when you visit a port. Do take a driver's license as I.D.
The ship handles all of the immigrations issues. Have been on cruises where our passports were taken at check in and given back the night before we docked. On others the passports were collected only for certain ports. It varies. In response to your question, on a cruise we have never had our passport stamped other than for Russia.
