Has anyone had lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants at the Eiffel tower? I know it would be a splurge, but is the food good? Did you feel it was worth it? Do the restaurants have uniformly good views, or do you need to be by a window? Was it hard to get a reservations, for the ones that do bookings? Thx!
My dad ate there last year,, and said food was fine, not super great( he is a bit of a foodie). I have heard alot of good about a place called Les Ombres in Paris, apparently its tables have an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower,, as opposed to a view from the ET..
Another thought as you suggested is to have lunch there,, a bit cheaper perhaps .
My husband and and I celebrated our 30th anniversary last year at the Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower. it was expensive but we thought it was worth it. The food was excellent and the service was superb. It is a once in a lifetime experience. We booked our reservation online two months in advance and requested a seat by the window. After your dinner you can request to out on the platform or to go up to the top.
