Is it warm enough to wear a swimsuit at the beaches in Slovenia and Croatia at the very beginning of May? Thanks!
All along that coast from Trieste in the north (technically in Italy but it was the closest northern destination that I could get weather data for) and Split toward the southern end, the long-term average temps toward the coast are about the same regardless of whether you are a little further north or a little further south. In May, which would be for May 15 and not early May, the avg temps are between 60 and 70, maybe averaging high 60s during the day, on average. The temps for April, say April 15, Are between 50 and 60. Somewhere in that range would be the prediction for early May. For a lot of people that would not be swimsuit weather.
