My husband and I are planning a visit to Marrakesh Morocco, we will be here for three days any suggestion would be really appreciated it. We are looking for somebody willing to show us around to take advantage of the beautiful seating and time.
Tks in advance!!!
If you are still looking for a place to stay, I have to recommend the Riad Noor Charana. It is just absolutely divine! Sorry I can't help with a personal guide.
I suggest you take your query to the Frommer Africa board, where I had questions before my recent trip to Morocco answered by the Frommer Morocco expert, Darren Humphreys.
I would recommend the Majorelle Garden
and possibly a carriage ride through the city.
Thanks a zillion!!! I will check them out....
Hi MG, My wife and I just got back from a guided tour in Morocco. We used "Mad About Morocco" (madaboutmorocco.com) as our tour guide service. They were excellent. Mark Willenbrock is the owner and guide who is an ex-pat from the UK who's been living in Morocco for several years. His guide drove us into the desert where we stayed in a very posh bivouac tent for the night (and rode camels the next morning to catch the sunrise over the desert). All accommodations, driving, guide service, breakfasts and dinners were inclusive of the price. One thing to note about visiting the desert, Morocco is vast and mountainous, so the drive time to get from Marrakech to the desert and back is a couple day trip (9-10 hour drive one way).
Sounds like you guys had a blast, I really wish we have more time. I will safe the inf. :) thanks!
