Hi all, I have been trying to make seat reservations for TGV and I am about to go crazy!! I cannot find any option of making just seat reservation on SNCF website, and when I call them, I can't seem to either hear them or connect to them.
And when I go to raileurope.com, they only have the 2nd class seat reservations when I have Eurail Select Pass for 1st class (had no choice with me and my wife). Arrrr, nuts!! Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to make seat reservations for TGV in my situation? Thanks !!!

Try www.tgv-europe.com. Put in Great Britain or France as your Ticket Collection Country. You can easily purchase tickets from this website and print them out at home. What I don't know is how to indicate on this website that you have a railpass. Perhaps somebody else can help here.

One of the pitfalls of having a Eurail pass in France is that you can't only get seat reservations through tgv-europe.com and raileurope.com of course just sucks. I'd try to keep calling (international calling can be difficult) or maybe contact a local travel agent. Are you starting your trip in France? You can buy reservations only for trains in other countries at train stations often (at least you can in Germany, not 100% sure about other countries).
