My daughter is studying in Barcelona. What's the best method to send her packages?

Expensive, but FED EX will be the best. You may have a problem clearing the customs...be sure to check out the declarations requirements. I had extreme difficulty receiving a package from Madrid, even though the shipper was a professional and did it all the time. Seems the customs person in the USA was not well versed in the matter.

It is difficult, expensive, and not dependable so don't send anything of great value. You can go to any of the express package sites and get a rate for sending your package.

Curious, what you were thinking of sending her? Other than a few US specialized food items, everything else is available in Barcelona. When our son studied in Madrid he was interested in sending everything US home.

I've mailed a number of packages to Germany and have always used the good old post office. I send packages at the cheapest rate and they take about a week to get there.
