Mac use in France

Does anyone know whether I need just a plug converter for my Mac power supply and accessories (such as the ipod charger), or do I need a current converter as well? I thought the Apple products will work with 220, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Just the plug converter. All apple stuff is dual voltage.

You might want to e-mail Apple directly for an answer to your question. Not that I doubt any answers you get on this web site, but, if anything goes wrong, you could go back at Apple.

Laura...just look at your Mac power supply. If somewhere on it you see "Input: 110-240v" then all you need is an adaptor plug.

I've used a Mac Power Book in Germany and France--you just need the plug adapter. I've also burned out a battery charger by not using a power converter; so follow Frank's advice.

All Mac's sold in the last few years have dual voltage converters. No issues. Get a plug adapter and go.

Been taking my Mac laptop to Europe since 2004. Just needed a converter plug. Bought it at Best Buy. Apple does make one for the Mac, but it seemed more expensive back when I was buying a set.
