Luxembourg City to Warsaw or Krakow

What would be the best way to get from Luxembourg city to Poland (Warsaw or Krakow)? I don't mind stopping along the way to see different sites if it makes sense.

LOT has 2 flights a day from Luxembourg to Warsaw. If only going 1 way, buy a round trip and toss the return ticket. Otherwise, it is a 15 to 16 hour train trip with a lot of changes.

The short answer is "Fly". I believe LOT has non-stops between Luxembourg and Warsaw. That would be my first choice.

If you so prefer ground transportation that you are willing to spend 15 - 19 hours on trains, go to the Deutsche Bahn website, enter your origin and destination, choose your date (or at least the right day of the week) and the earliest time you'd want to board a train, and see what comes up. By clicking on "Show details", then "Show intermediate stops", you'll see what cities you will be traveling through.

Are you set on a particular way of arriving in Warsaw? The flying option or the train? You can tailor the route

There is the night train option should you want to consider that, ie Cologne to Berlin Ostbahnhof, then change to Warsaw.

By day I would break it up,... depending. Take the train to Lux City to Frankfurt, then the ICE direct to Berlin Hbf. Stay the night in Berlin, Take the morning EC train to Warsaw.

In 2001 I did Paris to Warsaw by train but stayed the night in Berlin before continuing the six hour ride to Warsaw.
