We stayed at the Radisson Park Inn south of the River and city center. It was fine, there were amazing restaurants around and it was walking distance to everything, but it did get a bit gritty after dark, that didn't really bother us, but it may bother some folks. If we go back, we would probably stay in the city center just for a change of pace.

There is an American War Cemetery a bit out of the city that is def worth a visit. General Patton is burred there. I recommend a cab. We took the city bus and walked and it was quite a ways away and a bit confusing to find and didn't feel like the safest thing to do because there were no sidewalks and we were in the street and for quite a while we saw no people and were not sure we were really going to the right place. We really didn't know if we were going to the right place even following offline maps until we saw the cemetery gates and a few cars.

Last year, I stayed at the Hotel Simoncini. It's right in the heart of the old city. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, great location.

We stayed at hotel Mon Plaisir......not our favorite but it was clean. When we got there several places were sold out. Le plaisir was older and clean but still expensive compared to all the places we stayed in France. Loved Luxembourg. Have a great trip.

Loved the Hop on Hop off. We ate at what we figured out afterwards was a chain restaurant called La Boucherie. Ok but wished we would have researched it more.
